Workforce Training Programs Featured on Fox10 News

In early May 2024, Fox 10 visited our office to learn more about our innovative Workforce Housing and Training program. Workforce training programs are usually unpaid so for those who want to make a career change find it difficult to go without a paycheck for multiple weeks and housing insecure.

SJW’s WHaT program is 1 week of classroom training to be a commercial painter of both hard and professional soft skills with 4 months of rent free housing. Upon exiting the program, graduates will make $20hr and saved almost $5,000 of their own money to secure their own apartment.
