Valley LGBTQIA+ residents deserve stable housing, thriving lives – Daily Independent

Recently, our Director of Workforce Development, Andi Denton, had the opportunity to share their unique perspective on barriers individuals face with housing and employment in the LGBTQIA+ community, which was showcased in the Daily Independent.

Andi is a trans nonbinary employee of The Worker, and strives to create a place of inclusivity for all, regardless of identity or background. They have been at the organization for four years and understand firsthand the additional systemic barriers of the queer community as it relates to building a self-sufficient life.
