The Best Solution to Unemployment

St. Joseph the Worker offers a youth program called Youth Employment and Resources. This program serves youth primarily ages 15-25 years old. Through this program, we help teens and young adults become employable and employed, so that they never fall into the troubling demographic of disconnected youth

We recently added new content to our workshops that now span four modules – designed to align with a youth’s four-part career search journey – from the job search to job readiness, retention, and self-sufficiency.

Tailored to the individual’s needs and age, our Youth Employment and Resources program is highly interactive. It includes both an app with access to resources and an unemployment simulation that serves as an eye opener for young people about the importance of preparing themselves now.

The program’s mission is to enhance the likelihood of early success in young adulthood and create a difference for youths’ futures by leveraging an empowerment model.
